Looking to use your combination of project management, technical and business skills to transform a growing business? Policybazaar is looking to hire a Technical Program Manager who will be responsible for delivering new initiatives for Policybazaar’s online platform. In this job you will be responsible for conceiving, prioritizing, and executing development projects; working within the Policybazaar organization as well as dealing with multiple partners and vendors. Primarily you will be responsible for executing on customer experience, operations management and fulfillment systems. You will work with directly with the development, operations and internal and external technology stakeholders.

Specific Responsibilities include the following:

• Work with internal and external stakeholders teams to articulate a vision for the next generation of Policybazaar with operational engineering and customer experience teams.
• Conduct some or all of the following: oversee user interface design, usability testing, requirements definition, research, metrics analysis, technical specifications, development, testing, and launch efforts.
• Work cross-functionally with designers, software development engineers, and product managers. Manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit and build great customer experiences.
• Manage the prioritization and backlog of feature requests, conduct scoping estimates and be the primary point of contact for Policybazaar technical teams.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+years’ experience in program or project management, driving technical projects
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience working in an agile, specifically scrum, environment
  Preferred Qualifications
• Computer Science or Software Engineering background is desired
• Ability to think and act both strategically and tactically
• Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize
• Experience working in a technical constrained environment and still being able to deliver results
• Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this position
• Proficiency in open-source stack and other programming languages is strongly desired.
