Atlogys is looking for a web ninja who can

~~ SETUP AND INSTALLATION -Help setup/install, run/deploy & manage distributed web apps on linux based hosting platforms.

~~ DEPLOYMENTS -Can Comfortably play around with cloud and SaaS based web deployments including account setups & user managemen.

~~ OPTIMIZATIONS -Can track, monitor and run metrics on web applicationsàtracking up time, graphing throughputs/loads/latency, scripting variables and metrics for comparisons.

~~ CLIENT/SERVER SPEED IMPROVEMENTS àIdentify network bottlenecks and solve Problems àHelp stress test and optimize server setups, deployment environments & infrastructure.More cool stuff is always welcome! You will get to explore and contribute !

Must have Skills:

1. Experienced Linux User – Linux Hacker.
2. Exceptional shell scripting ability.
3. LAMP/WAMP optimizations.
4. Security audit and analysis.
5. Php / Ruby / Python / Perl deployment.
6. Mysql admin
7. Good with network stuff like vpn, vlan, gateways, switch, routers, setting up firewalls.
8. Set up Proxies/rev proxies.
9. Can set up load balanced deployments on the cloud – redundant and non-redundant

PREFERRED …..Good to have these additional skills although not required:

1. Super quick and comfortable with EC2 (Amazon Cloud).
2. Setting up virtual instances, knowledge of virtualization?
3. Knows, understands and can setup SaaS.
4. Memcache / Hadoop/ NoSQL.
5. Google Apps.
6. Open source enthusiast!

Qualifications:

1. SELF MADE COLLEGE GEEKS WELCOME !
2. 1+ yr experience.
3. Passion for web 2.0.
4. Smart – get things done.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Prefers working for a startup
