Front End Web Designer @ Schematic

Job Description
We're looking for a talented, passionate and a highly skilled web designer to join our design team.
Duties:
• Design and develop creative comps for presentation and site redesign
• Assist in converting mock-ups into valid HTML/ CSS and integrate into our system
• Work with the development team to design and implement new system features.
• Daily site updates via CMS and hand coding
• Work with project mangers to develop online marketing materials
• Assist other creative members on internal projects as needed

Desired Candidate Profile
Skills/Qualifications:
• Bachelors' degree in Graphic Design preferred
• 1+ year of experience REQUIRED (experience in design studio/agency a big plus)
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Ability to juggle multiple projects at any given time
• Advanced working knowledge in HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash
• Strong typography skills
• High proficiency in web technologies and design
• Experience in Ajax, HTML5, and JQuery a big plus
