Senior Game Programmer
at Indiagames Ltd in Mumbai, India
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work closely with game design team and engineering group to ensure game design is feasible within time constraints
• Architect, Implement, and perform development level tests on new gameplay systems according to game design
• Enhance, refactor, debug, and optimize existing graphics and gameplay systems
• Write and maintain clean, maintainable, production quality code according to project coding standards
• Provide feedback to art, game design, and technical groups to improved game quality and development process
• Manage the programming team to ensure systems are done on time and with a minimal amount of bugs
EXPERIENCE
• 8+ years experience in game software development
• 5+ years of professional game software development experience across multiple specialties
• Extensive knowledge of and experience with C++, C#, or Java and object oriented design principles
• Experience developing client software for multi-player games
• Experience debugging and optimizing graphics, client side game engines, and server systems
• A Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• Experience leading a small group of programmers
