Business Manager – Online Media

Job Summary:
The person shall be responsible for managing business unit of web portal with all segments like content, design, technology, marketing, implementing user friendly features and ensuring continuous growth of traffic & revenue by using online marketing /social media programs and monetization of online traffic.
Job Profile:
Key Responsibility Areas:
• Manage the product, run it as per business plan and scale it up to meet core objectives
• Co-ordinate with Design, Promotion and technology team to control the development
• Achieve organic traffic growth through SEO/ Web 2.0 promotion and online marketing tactics
• Measure, track and evaluate the traffic conversions by critically analyzing the web analytics data
• Monitor latest trends and design and implement the social media programs for the website.
• Google Adsense Management to optimize the look, placement of ads and improve earnings.
• Testing/ Quality auditing of the website for content, layout, linking, features and functionality
• Projections and presentations of growth matrix to the management
Desired Profile:
Qualification: Any Engineer in any stream and/or MBA from top ranked institutions.
Experience:
• Min 5 years of experience in managing websites and implementing internet marketing techniques (SEO, SEM, Social Media Marketing etc)
• Experience of working with Designers and Developers.
• MUST be an active participant in the Social Media Sphere and should understand YouTube, Facebook, StumbleUpon, Delicious, Digg, Reddit, Flickr, Forums, Twitter, Wikis, blogs, etc.
Required Skills:
1. Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
2. Good knowledge of social media tools and technologies, including social bookmarking, tagging, dynamics of XML, widgets, feeds and blog publishing
3. Well-versed with analyzing web traffic trends (using tools like Google Analytics, Webalizer etc.
4. Competency in MS Office especially Excel with good understanding of HTML, CSS, JS
5. Should understand technology know how
