Full-time Technical Account Manager for Mobile VAS Company

Job Description

MNO (Mobile Network Operator) Relationship: Report directly to the head of Carrier relations
• Manage the day-to-day relationship with MNO’s VAS Team to create, develop and implement the channel strategy. Manage the relationship with MNO’s channels
• Liaise with MNO’s channels, contacts to ensure acquisition is line with agreed upon targets.
• Work with each channel on suitable promotional campaigns focusing on acquisition/retention.
• Handle key relationships and activities that will lead to customer acquisition
• Develop, implement and service existing and new acquisition programs, co-marketing programs and customer loyalty programs.
• Identify the target audience for a particular VAS campaign and determine how best to communicate to the users
• Track and monitor campaign effectiveness for future activity

For example, on SMS blast campaigns, you will be expected to:
o Plan SMS blasts strategically and ensure they are successful
o Perform pre and post blast data analysis
o Ensure proper reporting with carrier involved in the strategy

Desired Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a strong academic record, with at least 2 years of experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of technical sales or account management experience is required
• Familiarity with the telecom and MVAS landscape in India, with at least some prior experience working with large telecom operator(s) in India
• At least 1 year experience working in the Mobile Value-Added Services (MVAS) space
• Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive projects and competing priorities
• Ability to effectively think strategically and influence cross-functional teams, such as Technical Service, Product Development, and Engineering teams to resolve problems and to provide input into new features
• Experience in consultative sales techniques, and account planning including account profiling, account positioning strategy, customer needs analysis, sales opportunity development, service improvement planning, and long range account management strategies
