Job Role: Social Media Manager
Location: Mumbai
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Monitoring and tracking the latest Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other social media tools' development trends
• Becoming a key contributor to the posts, blogs and tweets of the social media
• Moderating online conversations and events to make sure the posted topics are
relevant
• Managing and moderating online communities
• Managing user-generated content by fixing errors in style, grammar, spellings, etc. and weeding out posts that violate the guidelines
• Managing members by assisting them to make the best use of the community; taking appropriate action when members violate code of ethics, rules, and policies
• Engaging and motivating the company's most active online influencers and advocates to ensure that their input is acknowledged
• Participating minute by minute in the conversations that surround the company’s content and brand, answering the comments, being a mediator
• Identifying threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the
Company’s brand
• Creating content for feeds and snippets in various social media sites
• Tagging and giving title to the content, with an understanding of how the words chosen impact natural search traffic
Required Competencies:
Functional Competencies:
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and trends
• Strong analytical skills
• Working knowledge of MS Office
Behavioural Competencies:
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Excellent attention to detail
Educational Requirement:
Any Graduate + Post graduation (Not mandatory)
Candidates with prior experience will be preferred. However, freshers with a passion for Social Media management are encouraged to apply.
