Senior Manager - Business Development & Sales

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Analyze current market ecosystem for mobile VAS solutions – the market size, products, competition, trends etc.
• Identify potential customers domestic as well as global and device suitable sales & marketing strategy.
• Work out Pricing and sales model – upfront, subscription, revenue share etc.
• Experience of making of Business Plan and successful execution, market forecasting etc.
• Product and Solution Presentations, organizing demonstrations etc to Customers/Prospects
• Develop proposals for the solution sale to Telecom Operators/ other prospects.
• Response to RFP's/RFI's and closing the sales.
• Evaluate campaigns and evolve creative ideas to improve our effectiveness.
• Build good relationships with the clients & partners
• Increase the productivity and effectiveness of the current program.
• Contributing to continuous growth and profitability
• Contributing to continuous product development/ improvement by providing regular feedback on market requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have good knowledge VAS products & solutions.
• Must have 10+ years of Sales/ Business Development experience with about 4 years of working on mobile VAS products & solutions to the Telecom Operators and others.
• Experience of working with/ for major telecom operators / enterprise/corporate.
• Exposure/ experience of interactions/ business with overseas customers would be of added advantage.
• Experience of vendors and service / solution partnership management.
• Should possess an MBA degree from a reputed institute with specialization in IT, Systems or Marketing.
• A B.E degree in IT or Telecom would be of preferred advantage.
• Must have flare for sales. Should be able to address multiple large enterprise/ Telecos.
• Good communication skills – spoken and written.
• Pleasing personality and strong Self confidence, befitting the work environment and and a good team player.
• Aggressive, result oriented attitude – the selected candidate would be regularly measured on results.
Others
The position calls for extensive traveling within the country and in due course, within the APAC region. Candidates should be willing to travel at short notice and should have an innate desire to work in a competitive, multi-cultural and multi-lingual environment.
