Summary
Netcore Solutions is developing an exciting new product in the consumer mobile messaging space and has an open position for a Java developer, to develop a sophisticated Android app. The position will be based in Mumbai.

You are excited by the opportunity to work in a fast-growing industry, are a self-starter and quick learner. You are a great communicator and are also able to adapt from the web- and desktop-based era to the mobile apps era.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and test the app and its communication with the corresponding server-side component. You will also be expected to participate in the design and development of the server component itself
• Submit and onboard the app into the Android Market and the Amazon Store for Android
• Be part of strategic decision-making along with the Design, Engineering and Marketing teams

Requirements

• A B.Tech from an IIT/NIT/BITS. We might make an exception if you’re exceptionally good
• 3 years real-world Java programming experience. We need to see live examples of your work
• Familiarity with version control systems (SVN is preferred)
• Huge bonus: demonstrable understanding of the Android SDK and native UI design patterns
