Job Description -
We are looking for a talented, creative and motivated Software Engineer who will focus on our search quality, search relevance and mobile search infrastructure. You also need to be aNatural Language Processing Specialist who can creatively apply NLP techniques to a large body of unstructured data.
Some of your core tasks will be to –
· Design, develop and maintain pipelines that create search indexes out of data from large databases.
· Conceive and implement new features and ranking changes to improve search and ultimately help users both find what they want and interesting new content.
· Mine a variety of online and offline sources to transform unstructured data into actionable intelligence.
· You will also need to guide other team members to design, implement and monitor the methods and systems that conduct this collection process.
Qualification & Experience -
· Strong background in NLP
· BS in Computer Science. MS in NLP will be given preference.
· 2 or more years of relevant work experience
· Experience in programming in PHP,C/C++, Java, and/or Python
· Experience in distributed computing, information retrieval, data mining and machine learning
Competencies -
· Proven ability to solve previously unseen problems in a creative manner.
· A can-do attitude and a self-starter mentality.
