A mid sized successful MNC in a highly competitive business. Part of a multi- billion dollar MNC. With a strong leadership team and track record of creativity. PR plays a big role in reaching out to its target constituency, which comprises of middle class Indian households, with housewives being key.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Lead the PR function. Strategizing and implementing all activities related to marketing communications, public relations, and internal communications. The communication activities are targeted towards consumers, trade and business associates, JV partners, investors and employees. Generate cutting edge creative communication that goes beyond traditional PR efforts.
HIRING PROFILE:
MBA from Business School, with overall experience of 7-10 years. Must have PR/ corporate communication experience within fmcg/ durable/ mass market services such as telecom/ organized retail. Must have a highly strategic approach vis a vis a tactical viewpoint. Should possess deep understanding of mass market consumers and their media habits. Could have a mix of agency and client experience. Someone who has both depth and width of knowledge, with capabilities to shape PR strategy and help bring new insights to mass communication Most importantly, the individual must have a point of view about the PR function, Collaborative, tenacious. With a never –say-die attitude. Confident, composed and mature – with a keen desire to win. Will report to head of marketing, dotted line to CEO.
