Position Assistant Manager – Public Relations
Reporting to
Manager PR
Requirement of position - Graduate / Post graduate in Mass Communication (preferred)
- 2-3 years of Industry (online / real estate) experience.
- Extremely active on Social Media & Active Blogger
- Excellent communication skills including written English.
- Good at data analysis.
- Exposure to real estate writing would be an added advantage.
CTC Upto 5 lac total (fixed + variable)
Main Job Description
1. Promote Makaan.com as a real estate expert thru social media activities
2. Participate in Real estate blogs / forums and position Makaan.com as a leader amongst the target audience
3. Analyze Makaan.com’s backend data and converting it into meaningful information that can be shared with media and with people at large via upload on MakaanIQ
Also required to do
1. Working with the PR person and Business Head to implement a sound PR plan to create and sustain ‘buzz’ around our brands
2. Evaluate and make recommendations for media opportunities to pursue/decline;
3. Oversee development and approval of all PR materials (messaging, press releases, Q&As, talking points)
4. Craft ideas and pitch editorial content to various outlets
5. Foster relationships with influential media, both in print and broadcast mediums (key bloggers, producers, reporters)
6. Research, write & edit press materials including talking points, news releases, blogs, pitches, presentations, awards submissions and speaking abstracts
7. Deliver concise, timely and informative reporting on press activities, coverage, opportunities, successes and press feedback to internal constituents. Provide post-mortem analysis and competitive analysis
8. Conceptualizing and proposing PR ideas within the company
