Position: Head of Technology
Education: Engineer (RECs++) + MBA (A good Indian school)/EMBA (IIM/ISB)
Experience: 12+ years total with atleast 3+ years in an Online/Portal management role
Role:
• Overall CTO with specific focus on online product management focus
• Independently produce PRDs based on MRDs from the brand teams.
• Manage the writing, review and signoff on High Level Design and Architecture documents.
• Manage timely delivery of builds.
• Manage the service engineering aspects with regard to the Amazon Web Services infrastructure.
• Maintain a productive computing environment for the employees.
• Manage multiple relationships with website build and maintenance firms.
• Hire and manage a productive inhouse technology team.
• Manage the online operations
Skills:
• Business Acumen
• Excellent Communication / Influencing skills at the CXO level
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple simultaneous initiatives
• Ability to affect change for the benefit of business
• Ability to balance scope, quality and timelines
• Ability to manage people managers
