Freelance Creative Writers for Khelega Games - An Audio Games Studio

Khelega Games is a Mumbai & Pune based Game Studio. Khelega Games is a division of Dialify Technologies, a startup by a team that has handled key roles in Digital Media companies like Zapak, BigAdda, Radio Mirchi, Geodesic etc.

We produce Audio Games that are distributed via Premium Voice Calls on multiple telco networks in India. Our titles have an aggregated subscriber base of over 250000 users across Airtel & Reliance Communications.

Our games feature Film quality sound & script + our unique interaction models in multiple languages.and are developed by a talented and multi-skilled team comprising Sound Engineers, Software Engineers & Award Winning Sound Designers with Global credentials in Movie SFX.

In the past 6 months we have produced The Official ICC World Cup 2011 Game – Cwicket for RCOM as well as ToonCwicket for Cartoon Network. We are working on a pipeline of titles that will be marketed by a top Games Publishing company in the coming months.

We are looking for Creative writers who would like the challenge of working on non-linear script & dialogue for interactive concepts.

The following assignments are currently open for multiple game genres.

#1 Concept to Script – Creative Writers [Hindi & English]
Deliver a finished script for Game Concepts designed by our Game Designers. We expect multiple iterations of 1-4 week durations before a script is finalised.

#2 Translation of existing Games to multiple Regional Langauges
Deliver localised translations in Regional Languages [Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malyalam, Gujrati, Marathi, Bangla, Bhojpuri, Punjabi]

Needless to say – writers will need to demonstrate a sense of humour and drama with a touch of local flavor in their portfolio.
